Doron gears up for senior club replay

Ballynacargy NS teacher Doron Harte will be cheered on by his pupils this Sunday, when the Garrycastle star takes to the field against Crossmaglen Rangers in the All-Ireland club SFC final replay.Doron, joined by some of his pupils, stopped by the Westmeath Examiner today, Thursday March 29, just days before his date with destiny in Saturday's final at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan (5pm).Excitement is at fever pitch, especially in his fifth and sixth classes - and some of the pupils are set to make the trip to Cavan to watch the Westmeath and Leinster champions' bid for the Andy Merrigan Cup."We're going to try and do what we did in Croke Park, only sustain it for longer this time," Doron told the Westmeath Examiner, lauding Garrycastle manager, Anthony Cunningham's successful tenure in charge, which will come to an end on Saturday."He's been absolutely fantastic for us. It's been a serious three years, and a big boost to the team."I'd say he's looking forward to the break, so he can concentrate on Galway [senior hurlers]."
