Mullingar's latest singing sensations Conor Quinn and Graham Dowling (with Icon on Fire) are special guests at a suicide prevention evening in the Mullingar Park Hotel this week, Wednesday April 4 (7pm).Organised by Mullingar Soroptimists in association with the Mental Health Association and the HSE, the aim of the evening is to increase young people's awareness of positive mental health and to highlight in an entertaining environment the help that's out there for vulnerable people. In addition to Conor's performance, there will be a battle of the bands and a solo competition between secondary schools. The audience will have a text vote for their say in deciding the school competitions.
