Courses for sports people
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course takes place on Saturday April 14 in the Old County Buildings, Mullingar from 10am to 1pm.The course will cover the defibrillator and its maintenance, CPR and choking as well as the signs of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and foreign body obstruction.For anyone who has completed the sports first aid course in the last six months this AED is only a 1.5 hour add on (specify this when booking).A children's officer course takes place Saturday April 21 in the Old County Buildings, Mullingar.It is a progression from the basic Code of Ethics course and will suit those who act as children's officers in their clubs.The course is six hours and costs â¬30 per person, based on a minimum of 12.There is a code of ethics course on Wednesday April 25, 6.30-9.30pm in the Old County Buildings, Mullingar.The course is â¬15pp, based on a minimum of 12.Book a place or get details on the above courses and events with Westmeath Sports Partnership, 046 93 90208 or info@westmeathsports.ie.http://www.westmeathsports.ie/
