Westmeath defeated Derry by eight points at Cusack Park today.They only scored three points in the first half, to Derry's 0-8, but they came back strongly after the break, probably helped when Dermot McBride was sent off for a second yellow card shortly after the resumption.The Lake County stay in Div.2.More in the Westmeath Examiner on Wednesday.
