Bressie's boys lead the way as Voice heats up

Another four contestants departed the Voice of Ireland last night, and punters were hit hard as Liam Geddes was among them. The Dublin busker was one of the most supported acts in the betting but punters are now turning their attention to Bressie's boys.Conor Quinn and Pat Byrne are topping the betting at 10/11 and 11/4 respectively. Westmeath man Conor Quinn has topped the polls each week so it's no surprise to see that his odds have dramatically shortened from 13/8 into 10/11.Opera singer, Vanessa Whelan, has been the dark horse of the competition and Boylesports have reported that she is the biggest loser in the book. The singer was once available at 28/1 but can now only be backed at 7/2, and will cost the Irish firm a significant five figure sum if she wins the contest."Bressie has two fantastic acts on his hands and will have a really hard decision to make next Sunday, but the show has been so unpredictable that anything could happen! Vanessa could be the one to watch come the final," said Nicola McGeady, of Boylesports. The Voice of Ireland Outright10/11 Conor Quinn11/4 Pat Byrne7/2 Vanessa Whelan5/1 Richie Hayes16/1 Sharon Gaynor25/1 Kim Hayden33/1 Jim Devine100/1 Alan Fitzsimons
