If you walked up and down the streets of Mullingar today hoping to get your face on the Irish Film Board's next big thing, then get ready to be disappointed - the cameras weren't on you!Nevertheless, it was hard not to be aware of the buzz in Mullingar's town centre on Wednesday, as Oliver Plunkett Street, Mount Street and other parts of the town became a film set for a day.The film crew have been in Mullingar for the last few days, putting together a montage of footage for the Road Safety Authority's winter advertising campaign, which will be hitting the screens in the near future.Parts of the town were closed off from pedestrians for a short time, as the film crew nailed their crucial shots. The result was that at lunchtime, people had to take a detour to pick up their coffee and sandwich.But hey, that's showbusiness...
