The 2012 Westmeath Examiner Sports Award took place at a special ceremony in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Friday 1st February 2013. Award winners for each of the twelve months of 2012 were in attendance to receive their monthly awards at the ceremony. The overall winner of the night was John Joe Nevin, who was awarded Sports Star of the Year.
