Mullingar trio picked for Ireland U18s

Three Mullingar RFC players have been included in the Ireland U18 Clubs team to play England in Ashbourne tomorrow, Easter Saturday, afternoon.

Fly half Conor O'Brien and blinside flanker Andrew Purcell were promoted from the  bench after impressing in the team's previous encounter away to Scotland on March 10, while right winger Anthony McGivney retains his place on the first 15.

The strong Mullingar contingent is further bolstered by the presence of Niall Hannon amongst the replacements.

Ireland will be hoping to record their first win this season after drawing with Italy and losing to Scotland.

Best of luck lads.
