Plenty of shirtless moments in 1D film says director

The director of One Direction's upcoming 3D movie has promised the group's  female fans that there will be plenty of 'shirtless' footage of Niall Horan and colleagues.

During a live webchat on Twitter with 1D fans about the movie currently being shot, award winning director Morgan Spurlock revealed that there are 'more shirtless moments than you can imagine, now how many of those make it into the final film we’ll have to wait and see.’

Spurlock, who first sprang to prominence when his 2004 documentary Super Size Me was a worldwide hit, also promised fans that there will be a number of scenes that will tug at the heart strings.

"There have been some really lovely emotional moments that we’ve captured, I think fans may shed a tear or two while watching."

Mullingar should also feature in the film, One Direction This is Us, as Spurlock and his crew visited the town last month for Niall's brother Greg's wedding to Denise Kelly.

The film is set to be released in August.
