Hire a presenter... for charity

Midlands 103 is embarking on new campaign to raise money for voluntary organisations by offering four of its top personalities to firms in a unique charity auction.

Hire a Presenter participants will perform the tasks of regular staff members at bidding companies so they could be flipping burgers at the chipper, modelling fashion at a boutique or standing security at the door of your nearest nightclub.

The charities are Irish Autism Action, Living Links Midlands, The Jack and Jill Foundation and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Regular updates will be available on air to 120,000 listeners across Westmeath, Laois and Offaly so the successful bidders will receive copious publicity for their donation.

The fab four presenters are AM Kelly, Will Faulkner, Roy Jennings and Carl James.

AM Kelly is the presenter of Breakfast with Ann Marie. She is known nationally for her time at Today FM and also works as an independent film producer. Her warm personality lends itself to any customer service position… but you may wish to give her more menial tasks! The Jack and Jill foundation will receive the funds raised by Ann Marie.

Will Faulkner is the presenter of The Midlands Today Show, our daily current affairs programme. He is 31 years of age and game for any tasks you have in store for him! His chosen charity is Irish Autism Action, based in Mullingar.

Roy Jennings presents The Afternoon Show and is notoriously shy. Any role that puts him in public view will be worth every last cent for its comedy value! The Athlone native will be raising money for Living Links, Midlands.

Drivetime presenter Carl James was an accountant in a past life. He is also an aspiring singer. Some people compare him to Fr Dougal Maguire! Carl will be auctioned off to the highest bidder in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).

Bidding starts next week so tune in for more details on how to recruit your newest staff colleague or see www.Midlands103.com.
