Millions! was the buzz word of the morning as Carol Loran and Kevin “Sham” Geoghegan departed from Mullingar chauffeur driven by Boyle Sports owner John Boyle in his Rolls Royce.

Fifty-two friends and family travelled by coach behind them, as they set off in the direction of Lotto HQ, with another 52-seater on stand-by just in case!

They are due to collect their €10.5 lotto jackpot winnings around 1pm this afternoon and will arrive back to Mullingar amidst jubilant celebrations.

John Boyle ready to whisk the multi-millionaires away in his Rolls Royce spoke highly of employee Carol:
“She’s one of our team, the biggest lotto winner ever in Ireland, she loves the job, she loves the team, she gonna stay with us and hopefully be an example of someone who has got millions of pounds and yet isn’t going to change their character,” he said.

“This fabulous car, when I was 14 I went to the UK and I was with this guy who had a chain of betting offices and he drove a Rolls Royce. And I said ‘Oh my God, that’s my dream’, so I’m really now living my dream.
“I have a chain of betting offices and I have a Roles Royce, it took forty years to get here but so what. I was willing to stay with my dream, and I’m sure Carol and Kevin today must have had some wee dream somwhere that something wonderful was going to happen to them in finances and it’s happened. Everybody has a story, and everybody has a dream, and they become reality if you stay with them.”
