Customs seize 50,000 cigarettes in Edgeworthstown
As part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal cigarettes, Customs officers yesterday, June 25 seized 50,000 cigarettes with a retail value of approximately €24,000 and potential loss to the Exchequer of€11,000 in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
