Green Cross Parcels reaches out for charity

A Rochfortbridge entrepreneur is hoping that his latest endeavour, Green Cross Parcels, will expose Westmeath Craft producers to a global market.

Tom Fitzpatrick, who will be running the not-for-profit parcel service, is hoping to include as many Westmeath Craft producers as he can.

Tom read about iCompany in March, a non-profit organisation that builds websites for e-commerce that channels profits to Irish charities.

“I got in touch straight away and offered all my retail experience to iCompany. They had a website that was a great fit: Green Cross Parcels, a company delivering Irish products to homesick Irish people all over the world,” explains Tom.

Green Cross Parcel aims to affordably deliver a wide range of Irish products to expats and others around the world. It supports the Simon Community, Headstrong, Age Action Ireland and The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation.

“The charities supported by this enterprise do an incredible job and they rely heavily on fundraising. So it would be wonderful if this supported their great work and Westmeath craft workers too,” said Tom.
