Greville named as new Westmeath minor hurling manager

Former Raharney and Westmeath hurler Johnny Greville has been confirmed as the new manager of the Lake County's minor hurlers.

Greville, who worked with Brian Hanley as a selector with Westmeath's senior hurlers last year, was ratified as minor boss at last night's meeting of Westmeath County Board.

The former Raharney gaffer - who was at the helm when the Deelsiders won a county title in 2010 - replaces his fellow clubman John Coyne in the county minor role.

Meanwhile, Tom Carr has been ratified as Westmeath minor football manager for another year, having led his charges to a Leinster final during the summer.
