TV and radio broadcaster Claire Byrne launched Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning 2015 which aims to brew up funds for North Westmeath Hospice Homecare.

Enjoy a cup of coffee this thursday in aid of north we

This Thursday September 17, people in workplaces, homes, schools and local organisations across North Westmeath are holding a coffee morning and to collect €2 for each cup of Bewley’s fresh coffee drank.

Three quarters of Irish people want to die at home – but only one quarter will get to do so due to huge gaps in hospice services

Last year our local North Westmeath Hospice Services supported 240 people who required end of life care.

The North Westmeath Hospice is a voluntary organisation which was set up in 1994 to help provide specialist palliative care services for the people of Westmeath.

The North Westmeath Hospice continues to be focused on improving access to palliative care particularly through the homecare service and also using the dedicated beds in Mullingar Hospital and the St Camillus nursing centre in Killucan.

All money raised will go directly towards the funding of these services.

If you have not already signed up to hold a Coffee Morning on September 17 and would like to do so please call to the North Westmeath Hospice Office on Mary St Mullingar on Monday Wednesday or Friday Morning 10 am to 1 pm or call Carmel 0863824048, Teresa 0872766939 or Veronica 0860272710 and we will provide you with the Bewley’s Coffee Pack.
