Weather rain and breezy weather replaces autumn sunshine

Those glorious sunny autumnal days are behind us.

The forecast for this week is not looking as good as heavy rain moves in from the Atlantic, bringing with it gusts between 50kph to 70kph in exposed areas.

A much milder night is in store for us tonight, Tuesday, with intermittent rain in most areas throughout the night.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, will again be a mild day, with highs of 15 - 18 degrees Celsius due for the midlands. A southwesterly wind will be on the blow and it looks to remain rather overcast.

Thursday will be a mix of cloud and sunshine, while Friday will turn colder, bringing rain and gusty winds.

The rest of the weekend looks to be mild but breezy.

And next week looks to be unsettled.
