Council chairman opens two books of condolence

An cathaoirleach of Westmeath County Council, Cllr Paul Daly, has opened books of condolences for the families of those involved in two recent high profile tragedies.

Members of the public are invited to sign the books of condolence in the Mullingar and Athlone Civic Offices between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm.

Condolences are for the Connors, Lynch and Gilbert extended families on their recent sad and tragic loss of life in Carrickmines, Dublin of Thomas and Sylvia Connors and their children Jim, Christy and Mary, Willie Lynch and his partner Tara Gilbert and their children, Jodie and Kelsey, Jimmy Lynch.

Condolences are also for the Golden family, wife Nicola and their children Lucy, Alex and Andrew, on their tragic loss of husband and father, Garda Anthony Golden in Omeath, County Louth.
