Hannah Lilly runners' first official race

Greene Farm Food Charity Sportive, May 1, Multyfarnham

Hannah Lilly’s recent graduates of her 11-week running course will take part in Greene Farm Food’s Charity Sportive on May 1 in Multyfarnham.

Running coach Hannah trains beginner runners of all shapes and sizes, with the aim that they can run 5k by the end of the course.

With just a few days to go until the summer fundraiser, Hannah and her graduates are looking forward to the sportive, as it will be their first official race entry.

When asked what her number one tip for participants entering the run, Hannah said: “Run for yourself. Don’t compare yourself to faster runners. There will always be someone quicker.”

All proceeds of Greene Farm Food’s Charity Sportive will be donated to North Westmeath Hospice, Aware and Sightsavers.

Chairperson of North Westmeath Hospice Fundraising Committee, Veronica Larkin, said: “Your registration fee will significantly contribute to North Westmeath Hospice providing end of life care to individuals and their families.”

Celebrating 25 years in business Greene Farm Food’s and many local helpers have been busy preparing for this event.

It is expected to be a great family day out with a hot buffet provided in Multyfarnham Community Centre.

Participants can choose from a 5k Fun Run, 60k Cycle or a 130k Cycle.
