Jason hoping for nice photo finish!

Mullingar man Jason Keelan is one of 24 finalists in a major photography competition – and he’s looking for support to take him through to the next stage.

Jason’s picture depicts a snowy Icelandic scene, and he was thrilled when it was selected as one of the final 24 in the Topflight/Canon Travel Photographer of the Year competition.

A voting process is currently underway, and anyone in Ireland can vote every day until May 20.

That will whittle the list of finalists down to ten, and their works will be exhibited in Dublin  before judging.

The winner will receive a week’s holiday in Sorrento in Italy and Canon photography equipment.
