Crookedwood House on At Your Service TONIGHT

Crookedwood House, overlooking Lough Derravaragh, hits the small screens tonight, Sunday April 23.

Crookedwood House is the family home of Bonnie and Martin Bellamy, who moved here with their family from London last year.

Bonnie and Martin bought the property for its 10 organic acres overlooking the lake, where they originally planned to simply grow their own food and enjoy a rural lifestyle.

But the house came with a large disused restaurant and eight B&B rooms, which had been closed for over a decade – which proved too tempting to ignore!

Despite having no hospitality experience, Bonnie and Martin decided to re-open Crookedwood House and restore it to its former glory as a Country House B&B.

“It’s been a big project, with a lot of decisions to make along the way. We decided to be brave, and avail of priceless expertise from Francis Brennan when it came along!” says Bonnie.

“It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!” says Bonnie remembering the hectic few weeks when Francis and his crew were onsite at Crookedwood House.
