Cronin billed for biggest celebration of Irish culture Liverpool has seen

Mullingar based band Cronin will join music legends Van Morrison, Shane MacGowan, Imelda May, Mundy and Finbar Furey for the Liverpool Feis on Saturday July 7.

Organised by Vince Powers, founder of the Mean Fiddler and one of the largest music promoters in Europe, the Liverpool Feis features some of the biggest names in Irish music, both contemporary and traditional, and is billed as the biggest celebration of Irish culture the city has seen.

Also on the line-up are The Chieftains, The Hothouse Flowers, Foy Vance, The Coronas, Aslan, Hudson Taylor, The Stunning, Nathan Carter, Damien Dempsey, Dublin Legends (The Dubliners), Sharon Shannon, Mary Coughlan, and Jack L.

Just returned from a very well received festival appearance in The Netherlands, where their performance earned them a critically acclaimed 8 out of 10 for their recently released The First Kiss of Love album, Cronin's latest single She Saves is out now on Gentlemen Records and Live Transmission Records.

Brothers Johnny and Mick Cronin, Fiachra Millner and Brian Murphy have a string of summer dates to celebrate the release of She Saves, which Hot Press dubbed "An invigorating mix of Nick Cave, the Bunnymen and just about every classic British guitar band you care to name".
