Acorn Players at Mullingar Arts Centre

On Saturday next, January 11, the Leitrim based Acorn Players will perform John McManus’s acclaimed comedy Loophole in Mullingar Arts Centre (8pm).

This play has been a sell-out in theatres and halls for the last two years and Mullingar will be no exception, so tell your friends in Westmeath to book now and be sure of a seat.

Extra seats had to be introduced at the last performance of this great comedy, at Dundrum Mill Theatre, in November.

The troupe played Mullingar with their last comedy ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’ by Rathowen man Jimmy Keary and all concluded – having played all over Ireland – that Westmeath people have the best sense of humour in the land.

Come out on Saturday night and enjoy another good laugh.

Jason Byrne has had a hard year, but he won’t want to talk about that when he visits Mullingar Arts Centre this month – instead he’s ready for a laugh, and has planned a show that is a celebration of triumph over adversity; of the fact that everybody has got their own crap on and they don’t need to listen to someone else moaning about their problems. So, leave your worries at the door and find out why ‘The Times’ described Jason as ‘The Outright King of Live Comedy’, Friday January 17 at 8pm, at Mullingar Arts Centre.
