Work on this year’s Midlands Career Expo is stepping up now that the date for the 2020 edition has been confirmed as Saturday April 25.

The event takes place at Irish Manufacturing Research, National Science Park, Dublin Road, Mullingar, and the organisers are expecting last year’s attendance of 2,500 visitors to be exceeded.

Some 50 companies will be present on the day, in the sectors of engineering, manufacturing, business, hospitality, life sciences, construction, and more, and several hundred jobs are expected to be available – the number cannot be confirmed till nearer the date of the expo.

As the name suggests, the Midlands Career Expo has a regional reach, and if you are one of the many workers who lives within what is considers commuter distance of Dublin, and spends too much time travelling to your job, whether by public transport or by car, April 25 is a definite date for your diary.

Whether you are a professional, a skilled worker or trades person, an apprentice or someone seeking an unskilled position, the Midlands Career Expo will have something for you.

If you are an employer who needs to recruit staff, this is an opportunity too good to miss.
