11 more COVID-19 related deaths

Eleven more people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died, bringing the overall death toll up to 1,592.

There have also been 115 more confirmed cases of the coronavirus. To date, 24,506 people have been diagnosed with the disease in Ireland.

At this evening's briefing by health officials, chief medical officer Dr Tony Holohan said that the majority of people are still complying with HSE guidelines. He also asked the public to continue to adhere to the guidelines in the coming weeks.
