Council offices reopening on Monday

All Westmeath County Council offices are reopening to the public on Monday as the country moves into phase three of the roadmap for easing of the COVID-19 restrictions.

However, in a statement released this morning the council said that “where possible the public should continue to access our services by phone, email, online or post”.

If customers have to attend the council’s offices, they are asked to adhere to social distance guidelines, use the hand sanitisation facilities provided, restrict the length of the visit to the minimum time necessary and use contactless payment methods, if possible.

Westmeath Library Service has been reopening on a phased basis since 8 June 2020 and is now open to the public with numbers limited in accordance with public health advice.
