Ten young men do 1000k challenge for hospice

A group of 10 close friends from Mullingar embarked on a challenge to run 1,000km collectively in the month of May and raise funds for the North Westmeath Hospice.

The idea came from local man Ronan O’Toole, who felt it was important to keep in touch with his friends, keep fit and support a local charity during such unprecedented times.

Together they raised €1,050 for the North Westmeath Hospice specialist palliative care services and completed 1,010 kilometers between them.

The North Westmeath Hospice congratulate these young men and thank them for their generosity.
