Mullingar lower than usual on Trolley Watch today

Mullingar is much lower on the Trolley Watch survey this morning than usual.

Today there are seven patients on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, according to the daily survey conducted by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

All seven patients are in the Emergency Department (ED).

At the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore there is one patient on a trolley, in the ED.

Cork University Hospital is at the top of today's list. There are 30 patients on trolleys there, all in the ED.

At University Hospital Limerick, there are 28 patients on trolleys, nine in the ED.

The national total today is 177, of whom 146 are on EDs, and of whom three are younger than 16.
