Cronin drop new video and announce live gigs

Cronin's new video for There's A Darkness just dropped!

It coincides with the announcement by the Longford/Mullingar band of two live dates scheduled for October - a rarity in these Covid times.

The band play Backstage Theatre in Longford on Friday October 16, and Mullingar Arts Centre on Saturday October 24.

The live dates are the first from the band who are never usually off the road.

There's A Darkness video is as dark as the song suggests, and was put together from footage shot by the band, and long term video collaborator, Kingston.

It features footage of the band on tour across Norway, Amsterdam, Leeds, and here at home, on stage at Dublin's Olympia Theatre, The Stables Mullingar, and Drumlish, Longford.

Of the song, taken from their recent release, A View From the Next Room, a mini which was put together during lockdown, legendary Creation Records boss Alan McGee says: "Cracking song There's a Darkness. Blown away...great f**king band".

Looking ahead to the live gigs, there will be limited capacity with full social distancing measures implemented, observing all government health guidelines.
