Lorry makes it through Market Square - eventually

The driver of this lorry had to use all his skill and some measure of ingenuity to get it through Market Square, Mullingar this afternoon.

Having come up Mount Street, he was attempting to turn left.

There isn't space there for a 40-ft HGV, so he had to think again.

After climbing down from the cab to check what space he had behind the trailer, he reversed down Mount Street and was then able to turn right and escape.
