28 patients on trolleys in MRH Mullingar this morning

There are 28 patients on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar this morning, the third highest figure in the country.

According to the daily Trolley Watch survey conducted by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, all of 28 patients on trolleys in Mullingar are in the hospital's Emergency Department.

Nationally, there are 240 people being treated on trolleys. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys today is again University Hospital Limerick - where there are 59 - followed by Cork University Hospital. The number for the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore today is seven, all of whom are being treated in the ED.
