Five on trolleys in MRH Mullingar this morning

There are five people being treated on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar this morning, according to the INMO's daily Trolley Watch survey.

All of the five patients are being treated in the hospital's Emergency Department.

Nationally, the INMO reported that there are 166 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 145 in EDs and 21 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys is University Hospital Limerick (40 patients), followed by Cork University Hospital (23). There are no patients on trolleys in Tullamore hospital.
