There are 4 people being treated on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar this morning.

According to the INMO's Trolley Watch survey, all of the 4 patients are being treated in the hospital's Emergency Department.

Nationally, the INMO reported that there are 234 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 187 in EDs and 47 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys is University Hospital Limerick (43 patients), followed by Cork University Hospital (25). There are 19 patients on trolleys in Tullamore hospital.
