Wilson’s Hospital School backing TEAM

Students at Wilson’s Hospital School donated more than 20kg of tinned and dried foods to TEAM in Mullingar.

Temporary Emergency Accommodation Midlands – TEAM – provides temporary shelter to women and their children, often in circumstances of domestic violence.

The charity relies on donations, and all food donated will go towards feeding its residents.

As part of the harvest celebrations at Wilson’s this year, students and staff donated more than 100 tins, 10kg of pasta and rice and 5kg of cereals and other items.

School chaplain, Mr Hawkins, and some of the students delivered the food to Teach Fáilte in Mullingar where the manager, Fidelma Bennett, thanked them for their generosity and help.
