Eight on trolleys at MRH Mullingar this morning

There were eight people being treated on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar this morning, according to the INMO's daily Trolley Watch survey.

All eight patients were being treated in the hospital's Emergency Department (ED).

Nationally, the INMO reported that there were 128 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 106 in EDs and 22 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys was Sligo University Hospital (22 patients), followed by University Hospital Limerick (17). There were 10 patients being treated on trolleys at MRH Tullamore.
