27 on trolleys at MRH Mullingar this morning

There are 27 people being treated on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar this morning, according to the INMO's daily Trolley Watch survey.

All 27 patients are being treated in the hospital's Emergency Department (ED).

Nationally, the INMO reported that there are 225 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 190 in EDs and 35 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys is University Hospital Limerick (44), followed by Cork University Hospital (35) and MRH Mullingar (27). There are nine patients being treated on trolleys at MRH Tullamore.
