Low temperature and ice warning for all of Ireland
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow low temperature/ice warning for Ireland for tonight.
Temperatures are set to fall to as low as zero to -4 degrees across the country.
Last night a temperature of -4.5 was recorded in Mullingar.
The warning is in place until 11am Friday.
The UK Met Office has also issued a yellow ice warning for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry.
Icy stretches are expected Thursday afternoon and through Friday morning. The warning is valid until midday tomorrow.
