New music - Cronin cover Cure classic

Cronin return with their first music of 2021 - a cover of the Cure classic, A Forest.

Recorded when the first lockdown ended, it was the first time the band had seen each other in months.

"This was one of the first songs we started jamming to get the juices flowing. We wanted to get back to the feeling of playing some of our favourite songs," says Mick Cronin.

A Forest was recorded at Transmission Rooms, Drumlish, by Mick Cronin.

Mixed by Karl Odlum (The Frames, Glen Hansard) and Mastered by Richard Dowling at WAV Mastering, Limerick, an accompanying video was recorded in January of this year.

Cronin recently appeared on a The Late Late Show special to help raise money for The Simon Community alongside U2, Glen Hansard with many more and appeared briefly in the Julien Temple Shane MacGowan documentary A Crock of Gold.

They continue work on the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut The First Kiss of Love with another single to be released in mid-March.
