Heartfelt praise for local firm by Lynsey Bennett in RTÉ interview

Lynsey Bennett, the young mother who settled a High Court action over alleged misinterpretation of cervical smears, praised the Mullingar company SJF Productions in an interview with Miriam O'Callaghan this morning.

The RTÉ broadcaster said: "In December last year, you sent that really powerful video message to the taoiseach asking for a change in the law to ensure that children of women who are victims of the cervical cancer controversy will be provided for; tell me about the video, and that's what key about your case - it has really focused on your dependants and them being looked after."

In her response, Ms Bennett said: "I have to say the video would not have been possible only for Sarah Foster in Mullingar, from SJF Productions - she just made that video so personal and so beautiful.

"She had actually made the video of me and my girls that I had asked to do for when I was arranging my funeral, and she was just so good to me and let me be me, and read out that letter and just bring to light how important it was for me, for my girls, to do this, and for no other women's children to have to go through the same pain, that they could all be supported."
