Tidy Towns help out with Ardleigh Crescent clean-up

Ardleigh Crescent Community Group held their first clean-up event of 2021 on Saturday last (March 13) when many of the residents helped out with litter picking, strimming and hedge clipping.

Fantastic work was done throughout the day.

The event was in association with and assisted by Mullingar Tidy Towns chairperson Bill Collentine, who provided litter pickers and refuse bags and helped with the removal of all rubbish collected.

Also on hand to offer help was John Lynch of Mick Lynch's timberandbarkmulch.ie’, who donated a large trailer of bark mulch for tiding up the planted area.

Mr Collentine would like to applaud all who took part in the event, and showed great community spirit in keeping their area clean.

He would also like to inform any other group who needs some assistance with their clean up events to get in touch with him.
