Temperatures to reach 18 degrees today

Today, Tuesday, will feature warm hazy spells of sunshine with temperatures reaching between 15 to 18 degrees.

There will be a good deal of dry and settled weather for much of the week, but turning cooler during the Easter weekend with more unsettled conditions developing.

Staying largely dry tonight with lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees Celsius generally. Some mist and fog persisting along some southern and eastern coasts in near calm.

It will be cloudy overall tomorrow, Wednesday, and cooler than recent days. Holding largely dry over much of Leinster and southeast Munster with some mild spells of sunshine breaking through.

Thursday will be largely a dry day with good sunshine, highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, a little cooler in the east and northeast, in light to moderate east to northeast breezes.

Thursday night will be a dry and cold night with good clear spells. Mist patches will develop in light to moderate northeasterly breezes. Lowest temperatures ranging from 0 degrees in the north with frost developing, to 6 or 7 degrees in the south.

Friday looks to be another dry day with good sunshine. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light northeasterly breezes.
