A beautiful weekend ahead as high pressure to dominate

High pressure IS to dominate right throughout the weekend and on into Monday, with temperatures ranging between 11 - 18 degrees.

That's according to Met Éireann's Siobhan Ryan who says there will be "wall to wall sunshine" on Saturday!

The only downside is that the pollen count will be high.

Today, Friday, will be dry and bright with spells of hazy sunshine. Mild and pleasant with highest temperatures of 12 to 18 degrees.

Dry tonight with long clear spells and light easterly breezes. Chilly with lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees generally, coolest inland with perhaps a touch of frost in places. Some localised mist patches too.

Saturday will be a pleasant and sunny day. Highest temperatures will range 13 to 19 or 20 degrees, warmest again in the west, coolest along southern and eastern coasts due to light to moderate easterly breezes.

Saturday night will be dry and mostly clear in just light easterly breezes. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees Celsius.

Another dry and mostly sunny day on Sunday with highest temperatures of 11 to 18 degrees Celsius, in moderate easterly breezes.

Sunday night it will remain dry and mostly clear. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees Celsius, in light easterly or variable breezes.

Good sunny spells again for Monday, however cloud will build in places. A mild day countrywide with highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees Celsius, mildest inland in near calm.
