Athlone teen who had been missing is found 'safe and well'

A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from her home in Athlone last weekend has been found.

A missing person's appeal was issued yesterday in relation to Abbie O'Brien (15) after she was reported missing from her home in Monksland since Sunday.

However this morning (Wednesday) the Garda press office stated that Abbie had been located and that she is safe and well.
