Presentation pupils win national competitions

Preksha Utekar of Presentation Junior School, has won three 2020-2021 competitions. Preksha, who is in second class, is the winner of the World book day competition ‘Design a National Book Token’, which took place across Ireland and UK.

She was in the category up to eight years and was delighted to win National book tokens worth €280 for her school and €110 for herself.

Her design is to be turned into National Book token gift cards.

Preksha also won the European Space Agency (ESA) International Open Contest to the theme ‘Imagination’ for which she made a 3D clay model of the solar system and imagined herself to be a space explorer.

Her artwork is displayed among the international winners in the ESA gallery. Preksha is also a winner in the ESB Networks Stay Safe, Stay Clear Poster Competition.

Laraib Qureshi, in first class at Presentation Junior School, is a winner of the ESA Astronaut’s Contest April 2021 competition, for which she made a 3D model.
