Good spell to last all week

The current good spell will last for most of the week, according to Met Eireann.

Temperatures in the Mullingar area will reach 20 degrees this afternoon, while the Solar UV Index is mainly high today and tomorrow, occasionally moderate.

Tonight will be dry with clear spells, though it will stay cloudier along northern and northwestern coasts. Patches of mist and fog will develop overnight in a light northerly or variable breeze. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a mainly dry day with sunny spells developing through the morning. Warm with highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees generally, but a little cooler along north and northwest coasts, in a light northerly breeze.

The settled weather is set to last until at Saturday, when it is expected to turn cloudy although temperatures will remain in the low twenties.
