Council offices to reopen tomorrow

Westmeath County Council is re-opening its offices to the public from tomorrow morning, Wednesday August 4.

But, the council says, the public should continue to access its services by phone, email, online or post.

All of the offices will reopen at 9.30 am and will remain open daily up to 4pm.

The Housing public counter will be open to the public from 9.30 am to 1pm.

Customers attending are asked to wear a face covering and use hand sanitizer.

They are also being asked to restrict the duration of their visit to the minimum time necessary, and to use contactless payments methods as far as possible.

A further requirement is that they adhere to physical distancing and cough/sneeze etiquette in accordance with public health measures and advice and that they comply with instructions from staff regarding management of the public areas and queuing.

Westmeath Library Service has been reopening on a phased basis and is now open to the public with numbers limited in accordance with public health advice.
