Niall announces group name for his fans! 'The Horan Dogs'

Mullingar star is guest presenter on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Niall Horan told his audience on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night that his fans didn't have a group name, so he has come up with one for them - The Horan Dogs.

That got a great cheer as the Mullingar man settled in to his role as guest presenter on Jimmy Kimmel Live, one of the biggest talk shows on American TV.

It was part of his opening monologue.

In that he said: "The idea of me hosting a comedy show is very interesting. I'm a pop star who has the reading age of a six-year-old and has zero business being in front of a tele-prompter.

"It's true! As a small child I was pulled out of school for worldwide fame and fortune when a deal was made with a powerful demon, or as you mortals call him, Simon Cowell (cue laughs from the audience)."

Niall then went on to discuss being from Ireland, and how little the Americans know about this country.

He also wished his granny happy birthday on her 91st!
