Team Hope looking for team co-ordinator in Mullingar

Team Hope are looking for a local team co-ordinator/office liaison in Mullingar to come on board for their Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

Since 2010, Hope, have been working to help children affected by poverty in Africa and eastern Europe.

The charity has become well-known for its Christmas Shoebox Appeal, which gets people involved by putting together a gift-shoebox to donate those in need.

The charity is recruiting a co-ordinator to promote the appeal in the Mullingar area over three months.

The candidate will be in charge of overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team and will be the main point of contact for the public and the Team Hope office.

Team Hope’s National Shoebox Appeal manager, Jonathan Douglas, said: “We are looking for a passionate local team co-ordinator who can drive the appeal in schools, clubs and businesses in Mullingar to help deliver as many shoeboxes and smiles on children’s faces as we can in time for Christmas - every shoebox counts.

“The Christmas Shoebox Appeal is all about communities coming together to build shoeboxes and bring joy to children who need it most,” he added.
