Plans for new housing in Tyrrellspass given the green light

Plans for a new housing development on the Main Street of Tyrrellspass have been given the green light by Westmeath County Council.

The successful application by YMS Building Services Ltd includes details for the construction of three two storey houses and two semi-detached bungalows. Permission was also sought for the demolition of the existing gable wall at the entrance to the site and to widen the existing entrance onto the public road.

Telecommunications firm Eircom has been granted planning permission to erect a 21m high “monopole telecommunications support structure” at its exchange at the rear of the Main Street in Tyrrellspass.
