Department approves funding for a major new extension at Wilson's

The Department of Education has approved funding for a major new extension at Wilson's Hospital Secondary School in Multyfarnham.

The extension will include two general classrooms, a textile room, a science lab, a design and communication graphics room, an art room and two special education classrooms.

The news has been welcomed by Minister of State Robert Troy.

“Minister Foley approved it this week and I welcome further investment in education in Westmeath. It underpins our party's commitment to a good quality education system. This will obviously benefit the students and teachers at the school.”
