Help Milltownpass to shine bright for Christmas 2021

The Milltownpass Tidy Towns committee has started an online fundraising campaign to buy a Christmas tree and lights for the village.

In a post on their Go Fund Me page, the committee said: “Having come through a difficult time with COVID-19, Milltownpass is looking forward to better times ahead where locals and visitors can enjoy all our village has to offer.

“Milltownpass has never had a Christmas tree in the village before and we want to change that! This GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for a Christmas tree and lights to brighten up our village for the festive period and spread the Christmas cheer.

“This is an appeal from Milltownpass Tidy Towns to residents and businesses in our community to support our fundraiser. We aim to hold an event to mark the turning on of the lights and would love to get the entire community involved to kick the festive season off in style.

“All donations big or small are very welcome, will be gratefully received and will be put to good use to enhance our village. Thanks for the support. Milltownpass Tidy Towns.”
